Dear Wilmington Jaycees Community…
It is with great pleasure and sense of responsibility that I welcome you all to 2019. I would also like to take this opportunity once again to thank you all for giving me the mandate to serve as your 2019 local organization President.
Our chapter is still in existence today as a result of the outstanding contributions by our members, alumni’s and past presidents. Within the last few years, we have seen a drastic decline in membership and programs. This situation is not peculiar to Wilmington Jaycees alone, but to every organizations across the world.
Having been a member of this organization for over 20 years and a member of the Wilmington Jaycees for over 3 years, I have come to appreciate the beauty of the organization and the countless number of opportunities it offers its members. As an organization, we are strong because of the countless number of alumni we have, we are stronger with the number of members we have globally and we will be the strongest if we combine the experience and advice from our alumni’s with the zeal and determination of our members. Together I believe we will achieve and move the chapter to greater heights.
Our Theme for 2019 will be “Back to Basics, 365 days to do it”. Our focus for the year will be centered around the following.

- Programs and Project
- Strategic Partnership
- Long range plan
As we step into 2019, we do so with high hopes and expectations that together we can take the chapter to greater heights. We count on each and everyone of our support to make 2019 a reality. Please join us as we take the chapter Back to Basics in 2019.
