Happy hour: 6:00-6:30 pm

Membership meeting: 6:30-7:30 pm

Happy hour: 7:30-8:00 pm

First membership meeting at our new location – welcome to the University & Whist Club! Conveniently located in downtown Wilmington with plenty of off-street parking lot spaces, the University & Whist Club brings centuries of historical presence in Wilmington with the added benefit of 21st century meeting facilities and fellow like-minded civic groups for potential partnership. It is a tremendous honor to be included as one of the non-profit groups associated with the University & Whist Club.

Our monthly membership meetings will now be held at University & Whist in 2019 as JCI Wilmington (formerly The Wilmington Jaycees) is an official member of University & Whist Club.

Although our meetings will take place in one of the upstairs meeting rooms, please be cognizant of the dress codes for the University & Whist Club which can be found here:

https://www.universityandwhistclub.com/About/Clubhouse-Policies

If you are joining us and wish to grab a drink at the bar prior to the meeting or a short happy hour after the meeting, please have a credit card available and please be dressed business casual. Meeting at the bar will take place 30 minutes prior and 30 minutes after our regular membership meeting. The bar does not accept cash or check. If you are joining us and cannot meet the dress code – you are welcome to attend the entire membership meeting in the upstairs meeting room – only the dining and bar areas are restricted to dress code rules.

Jeff Lank, the 2010 JCI USA President will be our guest speaker. You won’t want to miss this informative event covering JCI values.
